We enter the gate to the cube factory on an ordinary monday.
Strange processes create an endless flow of cubes. Different types of cubes. The purpose of the cubes are unknown. The endlessly repeating flow of cubes hypnotize us. What comes at the end of the ever repeating motion? Is there an end?

Our vision gets blurred after a while. We don’t really know if it’s time to leave yet. It wouldn’t hurt to watch a little longer…

The experimental animation film „Monday at the Cubefactory“ deals with the overall theme of industrial labor. It is a somehow abstract idea that every object we daily see, use and buy is most likely a product of mass production and therefore actually went through a complicated, abstract industrial production process.

Based on the theme of satisfying loops, which are a popular theme in contemporary 3D animation, the cube factory shows the process of how cubes are produced. The video dives into the several production stages of the production of a cube. Abstract machines and processes invite to look closer and get lost in the ever looping movement of the industrial production line.
